Harlandale
Invitational Marching Contest

The Cougar Band will
perform in the Harlandale Invitational Marching Contest:
DATE: Saturday, October
11
LOCATION: Harlandale Memorial Stadium,
4002 Roosevelt Avenue.

REHEARSAL:
A mandatory
rehearsal will be held at Clark on the day of the
event:

Report to the band hall at 11:30 a.m.
Please make sure you have eaten lunch before you arrive. Wear
your usual practice attire: black shorts, white t-shirt.

Wear your theme shirt
instead of a white t-shirt.
This will allow students to dress down to cooler apparel after
performing and still look uniform.

Bring black shorts, black socks and your black marching shoes.
Make sure your shoes are clean!
PERFORMANCE TIME:
The Cougar Band is
scheduled to perform at 4:00 p.m.
Buses will leave Clark at 2:00 p.m., and the Band will warm up
at 3:15 p.m. After our performance we will stay to watch other
bands. Awards ceremony is at 6:15 p.m. Buses will return to
Clark after awards ceremony.
EVENT PATCHES and
T-SHIRTS
Commemorative patches
from the event will be sold
for $5.00 each at the contest. Please bring money to the
event if you wish to buy a patch. Chaperones will collect money
on the way to the event and will distribute the patches after
the event.
Event T-shirts will
also be available at the contest for $10.00 each.
Chaperones will not collect money for these items, but students
may purchase on their own at a designated time.
SPECTATORS INVITED!
Band parents,
families, and friends are encouraged to support the Cougar
Band by attending the contest performances. Admission: $3
per person (Free for children under 5 years old)
