2008 Cougar Band
End of Summer
Pool Party
The annual Cougar
Band Pool Party is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9,
from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at
the Colonies North Swim & Tennis Club, 3511 Colony Drive.
Food and drinks will be
served. Just bring your swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, your appetite,
AND ...
Soft drink and ice donations needed
Band students are asked to bring
a 12-pack of Coke, Sprite or Dr. Pepper to the party to
be served at the party. Unused drinks will be served to the band
before football games, contests and other events. Guard students
should bring two bags of ice to the party.
Volunteers needed
Adult volunteers are needed to
help serve food and drinks, and to clean up. If you can
offer your time and assistance, please contact Nancy
Wilson at

to Colonies North Swim & Tennis Club
From Clark High School:
From DeZavala, turn left
on Vance Jackson.
Stay on Vance Jackson for 3.3 miles. You will cross Huebner
and Wurzbach.
Turn right on Colony. Go ½ mile.
Colonies House Pool is on the right, across from Colonies
North Elementary.
From
IH-10 and DeZavala:
Go
east on IH-10 (toward downtown), and take the Wurzbach exit.
Turn left on Wurzbach.
Go about ¼ mile and turn right on Ironside (one block past
HEB).
Turn left on Colony. Go ¼ mile.
Colonies House Pool is on the left, across from Colonies
North Elementary.
